Visual inspections
Condition checks of accessible nacelle, rotor, tower and equipment areas for wear, damage, corrosion and contamination.

NORTHON / UPTIME SUPPORT
Scheduled service, inspections and preventive work supporting safe and predictable wind turbine operation across Europe.
SCHEDULED WIND TURBINE MAINTENANCE
Regular wind turbine maintenance helps identify developing issues before they become costly failures. The work scope is defined from the documentation applicable to the project, operating history, reported observations and site conditions.
Northon supports wind farm owners and operators during periodic inspections, scheduled maintenance campaigns and complementary service work. Mechanical, electrical and visual checks are combined with agreed functional testing and structured records.
SERVICE SCOPE
Maintenance can cover selected systems or a complete service campaign. The areas below describe the nature of the work without disclosing platform-specific procedures.
Condition checks of accessible nacelle, rotor, tower and equipment areas for wear, damage, corrosion and contamination.
Inspection of drivetrain, braking, yaw and pitch-related systems within the project-approved scope.
Checks of lubricant condition and planned servicing of consumable materials to the applicable technical requirements.
Inspection of markings, accessible bolted connections, locking features and service-relevant mountings.
Inspection of accessible cabinets, conductors, connections, sensors, cooling systems and auxiliary equipment.
Checks of accessible hoses, connections and components for leakage, damage and correct operation.
Agreed verification of selected functions and safety devices after service work in an approved turbine operating state.
Work-area housekeeping, observation records and information supporting the next maintenance decision.
CAMPAIGN DELIVERY
Detailed tasks remain governed by project documentation. Clients receive a transparent four-stage delivery model.
We review the requested scope, turbine availability, HSE requirements, documentation and reporting format.
Teams, tooling, consumables, logistics and the operator-approved delivery sequence are prepared.
Technicians complete the approved work, record observations and flag items requiring further diagnosis or repair.
Agreed checks are completed after the work and structured service records are handed over.
DOCUMENTATION
FAQ / WIND TURBINE MAINTENANCE
The scope depends on the platform, manufacturer documentation and operator requirements. It may include inspections, consumables, mechanical and electrical checks, functional testing and reporting.
Yes. We can provide mobile teams for multi-turbine campaigns or deliver a selected scope alongside an operator or main contractor team.
Intervals follow the applicable turbine documentation, operating conditions, service history and the maintenance strategy adopted by the owner or operator.
Minor actions may be completed when included in the approved scope. Items requiring additional parts, diagnosis or a separate procedure are documented and agreed as follow-up work.
The format is agreed before the campaign and may include completed activities, observations, photographs, functional-check status and recommendations for further service work.
Share the turbine count, location, target dates and general scope. We will propose a delivery model suited to your maintenance campaign.
