Nordex Delta 4K Type 1 maintenance in Lithuania
The Northon team completed Type 1 maintenance and additional service work on 14 Nordex Delta 4K turbines in Lithuania.
Type 1 maintenance on 14 turbines
The project was delivered in Lithuania from 24 February to 12 April 2025. Turbine work was completed on 11 April, with the final day used for campaign close-out and documentation.
The total scope reached 64 turbine-days, averaging approximately 4.6 working days per turbine. The figure covers actual Type 1 maintenance and service days assigned to individual turbines.
Scheduled maintenance and service work
The scope combined scheduled maintenance with mechanical inspections, consumables service and drivetrain measurements. Work followed project requirements while detailed procedures and technical parameters remain confidential.
- Type 1 wind turbine maintenance
- inspection of selected tower and foundation bolted connections
- checks of rotor, pitch and yaw system components
- gearbox oil and filter service
- laser alignment of generators
- cleaning and corrections to selected mechanical components
Consistent quality across the campaign
A repeatable work organisation method supported a consistent standard across all 14 turbines. Completed inspections, measurements and service activities were recorded in the project documentation.
