New Northon competence: EMG lifting bag inspections

Northon is expanding its service scope with certified periodic inspections of EMG transport and lifting bags.

Northon is expanding its technical competence with certified periodic inspections of EMG transport and lifting bags. The completed training confirms our preparation to identify products, assess their condition and document inspection results.

Inspection of safety-relevant components

The inspection covers the fabric, lifting slings, handles, seams, attachment points, closures, markings, serial number and signs of overload, wear or degradation. Each item receives a documented result and a clear status for continued use.

Partial repair or manufacturer service?

The type and extent of damage are assessed during the inspection. Northon can perform a partial repair when it is permitted for the specific case and falls within our authorised scope. If manufacturer repair is required, we inform the customer and agree the next step, including return of the bag to EMG.

Periodic inspections for technical and wind-industry teams

The service is intended for organisations using EMG bags to transport tools, equipment and loads during technical work. The manufacturer specifies an official inspection every 12 months and every 6 months in some countries; the applicable interval always follows the instructions for the specific model and local requirements.
