We provide comprehensive inspections of portable firefighting equipment used inside wind turbines, technical facilities and operational sites. A serviceable extinguisher is a fundamental safeguard for personnel and infrastructure, particularly around electrical equipment, mechanical systems, technical oils and confined working areas.
For work performed under Polish requirements, our inspection process takes account of § 3(2–3) of the Regulation of the Minister of Interior and Administration of 7 June 2010 and the PN-EN 3 series, including PN-EN 3-7+A1:2008 and PN-EN 3-8:2022-01. Equipment must be inspected and maintained in line with applicable standards, technical documentation and manufacturer instructions, at the specified intervals and at least annually.
Each service includes equipment identification, assessment of operating components and safeguards, verification of markings and a documented inspection result. Early detection of corrosion, pressure loss, a damaged seal, hose or valve reduces the risk of equipment failing during an emergency. We provide a clear condition statement and recommendations for any required action.

What is checked during a fire extinguisher inspection?
The inspection may cover the cylinder and external parts, safety devices, valve, hose, pressure gauge, markings, instructions and the result record, according to equipment type and manufacturer requirements.
How often should fire equipment be inspected?
Intervals follow applicable requirements, manufacturer instructions and operating conditions. Inspection must follow the period defined for the specific device and regulatory framework.
Can inspection be performed at a wind farm?
The method and location are agreed individually. Once Northon receives the equipment list and locations, the inspection can be organised for the relevant facility or site.
What does the customer receive after inspection?
The customer receives the agreed inspection record, device marking, information about identified defects and recommendations for further action.
